In 2021 and 2022, CEDI Europe successfully delivered and installed medical equipment and hospital furniture at the Academic Hospital in Paramaribo, Suriname (AZP). This accomplishment was made possible through a robust collaboration with our esteemed representative, BioMedical Systems. This project was executed as part of the Health Facilities Improvement Project, which was financed by the OPEC Fund for International Development. The supplied equipment was specifically allocated for the new Operating Room (OR) complex, the Central Sterilization Unit (CSU), and intensive care Unit (ICU). The first batch of equipment for the new ICU was commissioned in December 2022. Subsequently, the equipment was officially handed over during a formal opening ceremony in the presence of president Santokhi as well as the Minister of Health.
